Argassi

Argassi (Argasi) is one of the top tourist areas of the island of Zante. It is has the beautiful Mount Skopos behind it.

Over the last few years the resort has grown thanks to it being close Zakynthos Town which can be reached by foot. Argassi covers over 1km along the coastal road and is great for young and lively tourists.

Argassi beach is narrow with sand and shingle and covers the full distance of the resort, so you are always close to the sea.

Combining the best attractions of the other resorts, Argassi has a large variety of bars, restaurants, night clubs and shops. Argassi appeals to people of all ages especially for parents with teenagers. The town centre is small giving it a lively atmosphere. Outside of the town centre it is quieter and more relaxing. The popular resort of Laganas is close by and within walking distance to Zakynthos Town if you feel adventurous.
