Apart from Feta, you will also get manure, the kefalotiri and the two typical cheeses of Zante - tirokafteri and ladotiri.

You can also get a chance to taste puff pastry or focacce anywhere on the Zante Island. Tyropita, a puff pastry served warm and stuffed with feta, spinach, ham, cheese and meat is quite famous. Gyros are the rolled sandwich “piadina” consisting of pork, tomatoes, onions, fried potatoes tzatziki sauce.

In Zakynthos pastry shops you can find cakes with creams, chocolate, fruit, nuts, almonds and cinnamon. Bugatsa is a superb puff pastry stuffed with cream and covered with icing sugar and a cinnamon. Coffee is an amazing drink to end your meals with. In Zante coffee is prepared in a special manner. Coffee dregs are slowly allowed to settle at bottom of the container.
